Mayne Travel Services Limited was created in 1970 when long term travel agents, Daphne and Peter Mayne decided to build a travel agency with their own individual talents. Both had begun their travel careers in the late 1940's with Thos. Cook and Son Limited, whose office on Berkeley Street, London was known as the Temple of Travel.
Peter and Daphne Mayne's enthusiasm for helping people make their travel arrangements has resulted in a unique all around travel agency. Not only have they kept up with the changing world of travel with winter sunshine packages, escorted tours all over the world, and the emergent cruise vacations, but they are still able to offer the ability to bring together all the various elements of travel for those wanting completely original travel itineraries. At the same time, Mayne Travel Services is pleased to offer their expertise to clients who want the simpler vacation package holiday.
